NTSB calls for new safety technology to be installed in new cars

Backup accidents are perhaps the scariest (and arguably most preventable) accidents that can occur between cars and pedestrians. Drivers back out of driveways and parking spaces thousands of times during the year. Most drivers look behind them or check their rearview mirrors as a reflex, but there are limited instances when this step is skipped and a person is injured. 

Chrysler recalls vehicles due to head restraint issue

Owners of Chrysler vehicles will be returning to dealerships very soon once again. The automaker is recalling nearly 500,000 vehicles to correct an issue caused by microcontrollers set in headrests. The small transponders are designed to prevent neck injuries that could occur in rear-end collisions.
