Semi causes accident that involves multiple vehicles

When semi trucks collide with vehicles, the outcome can be devastating. Regardless of whether a tractor-trailer crash was caused by truck driver fatigue, intoxication, or any other factor, these accidents can cause physical, emotional, financial, and legal complications. With all the busy roads in Houston and throughout Texas, everyone should be aware of the risks while driving in order to prevent personal injury and death.

Unfortunately, for a number of people in Englewood, Colorado, they experienced the devastation that semi truck accidents can cause firsthand. While everyone was fortunate enough to survive this crash, which involved 13 vehicles, four people were injured and hospitalized as a result of the incident.

Authorities are trying to determine if medical issues caused the driver of the semi to miss a stop sign and slam into the vehicles. The Englewood crane provider that the truck came from has been in business for 60 years and used one of their cranes to remove the truck from the scene. Due to the crash, traffic problems occurred in the vicinity, which was closed for roughly five hours.

Because of the size of semi trucks, when one is involved in an accident there is the possibility that it can be particularly destructive, leading to multi-vehicle crashes, serious injuries, and fatalities. For those who are lucky enough to survive a truck accident, they could struggle with emotional and financial difficulties. Sadly, when people pass away due to a semi truck crash, their families could be overwhelmed with crushing emotional and financial setbacks. Anyone who is struggling with this issue could benefit from discussing their situation with an attorney.
