Texas woman dies after colliding with truck

There are a number of factors that may contribute to a truck accident, such as negligence and fatigue. Unfortunately, these crashes can have serious consequences for those involved and may result in injuries, permanent disability or death. When a truck accident occurs in Houston, it can lead to physical, emotional and even financial complications. For example, on top of unbearable emotional pain, families who have lost a loved one may struggle with funeral costs, while survivors could have difficulty covering medical expenses.

After a water truck slammed into an SUV on U.S. Highway 59, the woman driving the SUV lost her life. The crash took place at roughly 1:45 p.m. on March 21 after the truck driver reportedly tried to switch lanes on a service road, according to authorities. The driver of the SUV was unable manage the vehicle after the collision, causing it to cross over a barricade.

At this time, the names of the drivers of both vehicles have not been disclosed because the accident is still being investigated. Alcohol was not found in blood samples that were voluntarily provided by the truck driver.

When a police investigation is complete, authorities could discover a number of details that will have a significant impact on the case. Whether they find the trucking company at fault or the driver, those responsible for a crash could face tremendous repercussions. Furthermore, these findings could also impact victims who pursue compensation for their considerable pain and suffering. Anyone who is dealing with this may want to discuss their situation with an attorney.
