59-year-old Texas pedestrian fatally hit by truck

When a pedestrian accident occurs, there are numerous issues that may arise, including determining who was at fault, whether or not legal action will be taken, etc. If someone involved in the accident decides to take their case to court, the details of the incident, such as failure to yield or a drunk driver, could have a significant impact on the outcome. In Houston, Texas, and around the country, people suffer from serious injuries or even death due to a pedestrian accident. When someone is dealing with this, they should take a close look at the details of the crash and do everything they can to move forward.

A pedestrian was crossing an I-35 exit ramp in Bellmead shortly after midnight when he was hit by a truck. The 59-year-old pedestrian, who was from Riesel, passed away at the scene of the accident.

While the pedestrian was attempting to cross the road, he was hit by an F-150 that had just taken the exit. The driver of the truck that hit the man did not suffer any injuries in the collision. At this time, authorities do not expect to charge the 23-year-old truck driver.

From medical expenses to an inability to work, pedestrians may have tremendous financial difficulties after being struck by a vehicle. Additionally, when a pedestrian loses their life in a crash, their family could struggle with unbearable emotional pain and have a hard time paying for funeral costs. Dealing with the loss of a loved one can be very difficult and even those who are fortunate enough to survive an accident may find it hard to recover. Anyone in this position should consider their options and may want to turn to a legal professional for assistance.
